North West Non League

Manchester JUNIOR CUP

Club Details

• This is the basic history of every team related to the Manchester Junior Cup, as I add them to the records.
• All info is believed accurate but if you can correct any errors then please let me know.
• For new clubs, sometimes it can only be assumed they were newly formed as there were no references seen previously, but they could maybe have been playing in friendlies or in an obscure league with limited to no coverage.
• Sometimes clubs changed names, or the Manchester FA (or the local paper themselves) would report them as a shortened name, making it hard to identify if they are a continuation of a previous similarly-named club, or a replacement, or if it was the 1st team or the Reserves. Until conclusive evidence turns up, I have to use best guess logic in some cases.
• For formation and folded dates, I have used either direct reported evidence or best guess using logic from the available results and reports.
• Where teams had both First Team and Reserves enter in different seasons, the record of the Reserves is shown seperately in purple.
